Tracy Cohen-Peranteau

I have lived in southern California my entire life, thirty-six of those years in San Diego. Besides my job as an elementary school teacher and my grown daughter and son, my biggest passions are running and baseball. Padres are my NL west coast team and the Red Sox are my AL east coast team. My "dream goal" is to run a marathon in each of the fifty states AND to visit every MLB ballpark in North America. When Dave announced that the first 26.2 mile marathon would be held IN Fenway Park,?I registered immediately! Finally - an opportunity?to combine my two passions! <3

Attending the entire All Star weekend at Petco Park in San Diego was a dream come true for me in 2016, but in 2015, I experienced my MLB ballpark highlight: meeting the Red Sox players,?walking ON the grass at Fenway, as well as?signing my name inside the Green Monster. All of this was made possible by my dear friend Celeste Corcoran, who lost her legs at the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, and has maintained a friendship with the Red Sox Foundation since that horrific event. I am looking forward to raising money for the Red Sox Foundation, to pay it forward and help others, as this foundation so graciously did for my friend Celeste and for her family.

God Bless all of you who generously donate to this wonderful cause! xoxo Tracy
