Hello Family & Friends -

Some of my fondest memories of being in Boston surround the Boston Marathon. I vividly remember being a freshman at Northeastern University and watching the marathon for the first time and thinking "one day I want to run Boston."In 2013, I was at the finish line and I committed myself to remember the heroics of that day, the strength of my city and my resolve to run a marathon. Fast forward a couple of years later and I still haven't laced up those sneakers for a 26.2 mile run...that is until now.

On Sept 15th I will finally be checking off a bucket list item and running a marathon. It is the first ever Fenway Marathon. To combine a dream of running a marathon in the mecca of all baseball stadiums will be an honor.

Fenway Park Marathon??? I'm sure its eliciting as many questions with you as it was with me so here are some specifics:

- 50 entrants will be allowed to run the marathon

- 114 loops around the perimeter of the outfield warning track equals 26.2 miles

- Each runner must raise a minimum of $5,000 for the The Red Sox Foundation

That final bullet is where you all come in; while I log the miles for the next couple of months I am hoping you make might a tax-deductible donation and help me reach my fundraising goal. Seeing your donations will certainly help keep me motivated during those long runs.

The Red Sox Foundation is the official team charity of the Boston Red Sox. Their goal is to harness the passion our fans have for the Red Sox and transform it into a vehicle for positive exchange in the community. They support the Dimmock Center, Jimmy Fund, MA Little Leagues, Red Sox Scholars Program and many other community activities.

Thank you all for your time and support and if you are free the night of Sept 15th at 5PM stop by and show some support as I run 114 laps around Fenway.
