On September 15th, 2017 I will be one of 50 runners who will run in the first ever Fenway Park marathon!  It is the first time that a marathon is being held entirely in a sports stadium.  I have been going to Fenway since I was a kid when my Grandfather would take me and my family and remember Yaz playing left field.   Now I will pass the Green Monster 114 times  while running the marathon and give the Monster  a good tap each time.   I have been a Red Sox season ticket holder for 20 years but this will be an experience like no other.

I am raising money for the Red Sox Foundation.  It is a great organization that is a 501c3 nonprofit that raises money for many worthy causes including The Jimmy Fund at the Dana Farber Cancer Center, The Home Base Program at Mass General Hospital  which helps soldiers returning from the battlefields that are struggling with traumatic brain injuries and PTSD, The Dimock Center  in Roxbury that provides health and social programs to local residents and youth scholarships that provides sporting opportunities for local children.  Please help me in my goal of raising $5000 for these worthwhile causes.  I am a big believer of paying it forward and helping others.  All donations are tax deductible.

This will be my 50th marathon and help me make it the most memorable
